An individual has the right to defend his and his family's lives through the right to keep and bear arms.

As a former United States Marine, I firmly support the second amendment, which allows law-abiding citizens to protect their families and themselves. I believe that the right to bear arms is one of the most important rights that we have and I will take every step to protect this privilege.
